On June 5th to join the celebrations that took place across the UK and the Commonwealth, members and their friends enjoyed a ballroom street party at the Hotel Ponte Sisto in Rome. As members enjoyed their lunch, the “Queen” was happy to pose for photographs, and move from table to table!
As the soaring temperatures in Rome made the garden too hot for the street party, the celebrations were moved to the ballroom. As a bonus, members were able to enjoy the broadcasting of the celebrations in the UK including the Jubilee Pageant, on the giant screen.
