Park of the Aqueducts
Saturday May 4th at 9.30am
We hope you will be able to join us for our next cultural event a guided visit in English to the “Park of the Aqueducts” in Rome. It is located on the outskirts of Rome and is one of Rome’s most interesting parks. The “Parco degli Acquedotti” offers a taste of the grandeur of the ancient empire’s famous aqueducts. The structures were built to bring fresh water from the mountains and countryside into the city. Our guide will be Ferro Trabalzi who accompanied us to Ostia Antica last year.
The tour starts at 9.30 am (duration approx. 2:15 hrs.).
We will then stroll through the park until 11:30-11:45. The walk will conclude around 11:45 by the Metro A stop “Porta Furba-Quadraro” (three stops before Giulio Agricola).
From Termini station the Metro takes about 15 minutes to get to the appointment site of “Giulio Agricola”
Please confirm your participation by 20th April and ensure your payment is made by the 24th April. The minimum for this tour will be 15 and 25 maximum.
We hope to see you on May 4th! and wear comfortable shoes!
